If they were playing rugby I could understand it as the number denotes their position, but in cricket there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for it. So why do they wear a number?:illogical |

While I'm not 100%, I believe this was done to make players easier to identify - especially if you're watching the game live. | 1473601 | 2020-12-13 19:56:00 | If they were playing rugby I could understand it as the number denotes their position that cant be right ? if the numbers on their back, the player wont be able to see his number so how would he know what position he was and when substitutes go on, with numbers 16, 17 , 18 etc, they must stand at the back of the field as there is no corresponding position Is it the same for race car numbers ? :thumbs: |
