| 1473317 | 2020-12-01 19:44:00 | Plenty of projects like this get funding, all various cultures, whatever. Maori are part of the society in NZ, they deserve funding just as much as anyone else. I agree with 1101, what's the big deal? If you don't like where your rates go, don't pay them, but remember most of it is going to be used in things that actually benefit you like road maintenance etc And also, there will be things funded that benefit you, that others have helped pay for with their tax money, that they will probably never use or aren't applicable to them. So it all balances out in the end. |
