1473054 2020-11-20 08:52:00 The road code says it all really.

Some dont give a damn, the amount of times people on bikes almost get hit because they think the road rules don't apply to them, like going straight through red lights.

There a few crossings in town, they don't stop or even slow down if someone's already on the crossing legally, they just barge through knocking people over if they are not quick enough.

Always ride as near as you can to the left side of the road. If you are holding back traffic you must move as far as possible to the left side of the road to allow traffic to pass, as soon as you can. However, you do need to cycle in a sensible position on the road to keep safe. See Cyclist responsibilities for more information.
Two cyclists can ride next to each other but should take into account the keep left rule and not hold back traffic. Three or more people cycling next to each other is illegal, except in the case of a road race that has been given traffic management approval from a road controlling authority.
Ride in single file when passing vehicles.

Which if you study the picture properly is what it shows being done.

1473057 2020-11-20 20:01:00 If they are biking side by side I pass with millimeters to spare although I air horn them before passing to warn them. I call them road parasites as they run red lights. prefect (6291)
1473058 2020-11-20 20:36:00 Once they get their Lycra on, the Main Street isn’t wide enough for them. B.M. (505)

1473060 2020-11-20 21:06:00 If they are biking side by side I pass with millimeters to spare although I air horn them before passing to warn them. I call them road parasites as they run red lights. We saw one a few weeks back, cars and trucks stopped at lights, some dumb ass cyclist tried to run the lights by undertaking a truck , didn't see the stopped car just in front of him -- bam - right up his date. He did bounce quite. wainuitech (129)
1473061 2020-11-20 21:43:00 Yes, they’re Strong in the Legs and weak in the Head.

They don’t realise that if they tangle with anything, other than another cyclist, or a little old lady on her walking frame, they lose.

Saw one a few years ago where a truck and trailer was turning right at a roundabout and the dopey cyclist thought he would pass the truck on the left. However, he got between the truck and trailer and when the truck straightened, the gap he was in closed, and the rest is history.

His you beaut, fancy coloured helmet, was no match for the duels on the trailer.
