1467858 2020-04-04 00:23:00 Yes my brother tried to tell the church guy this, as he decided this is what their local one is using.
He told my brother to naff off.

His quals in IT? He is an unemployed (even before lockdown) shelf stacker.

Oh well, my brother tried.............porn during their church broadcasts perhaps, I'll laugh.

1467859 2020-04-04 01:34:00 The problem is now with every tech news organization and discussion group talking about this the Evil Little Sods (ELS) have all been alerted to these security holes and will actively try to hack into these video conferences. paulw (1826)

We have tried Zoom here to take part in a group that we are involved with. It works, on our WXP computer, but do you think the security problem is worse/better for us, as it's WXP?

I don't think it does. My wife tried to use Skype as a Zoom alternative for one of their church meetings. An absolute disaster. Video was fine but the sound dropped out at random. You could see their mouths move with no speech and then come back again. Different person every time. Was about 7 people on the conference. Zoom didn't have the same issues.
