1473581 2020-12-12 09:12:00 Well,I will finish with them tomorrow. I landed with them after they bought up/out Xnet. (I had gone to Xnet to flee Vodafone's multiple failings. :) )
Surprisingly enough, they had worked fairly well for me for a while, but attempts to get a fibre connection brought so many contrary excuses that I finally decided to quit. I won't miss them, particularly their dictatorial and irrational accounts department, but not forgetting their hopeless help desk.

1473582 2020-12-12 19:24:00 Hi Guys

What Zippity and I are referring to is a Vodafone TV unit which simply plugs into your TV giving you access to your favourite apps and free-to-air channels all in one place. One doesnt have to belong to or join Vodafone to use.

1473584 2020-12-12 21:16:00 Because I have my Broadband account with Vodafone (and have done so for the last 15 years) I was told that their TV service would mean the end of "rain fade outs", better reception via BB etc etc.

What really pi$$ed me off was the constant loss of picture (reboots didn't help), the number of channels not appearing in HD, the non-availability of recording so called "third party" channels, the useless remote control, to name just a few.

I have no quarrel with Vodafone broadband, nor their mobile telephone services.

Watching TV should be an enjoyable and painless process - with Vodafone TV, it is not!
