| 1466595 | 2020-02-14 09:14:00 | Done all the necessary, ran memory test with Memtest86 found no problem, but it still beeps, more often, almost every time after I switched OFF from the wall outlet power socket. Downloaded the latest BIOS update (Beta version), flashed it and restarted. The beeps have gone - only the normal 1 beep. Has been OK for the past two days, I intentionally switched OFF from the wall outlet several times just to test; no issues! Don't quite understand why, could it be the BIOS corrupted? Its possible he BIOS was slightly damaged, but sometimes simply resetting it back to defaults, removing the battery ( and power) will also sort out a unstable BIOS setting. Keep an eye on any troubles though, BETA means A beta BIOS is an update that may improve a motherboard's performance or resolve a severe problem but has not yet undergone thorough testing.. If you lookup BETA BIOS -- You'll find almost everywhere says don't do it, use the finalized one. |
