If you really expected some company to toss out $1000s of dollars (and what, they decided to just ditch a **** load of profit for the hell of it) instead of get a discount voucher type things, would you actually drive all that way expecting to end up with heaps? Of course no-one except you and a couple of others would attend, there wouldn't be a mad rush, pushing and shoving to snatch it up, and humans being such a lovely species, no-one would snatch it off you if you did get hold of it all either. Hell if I was still in Auckland I wouldn't have gone, not even if I lived down the road from the area.... |

Of course people get psssed off when they have been scammed . Dont have a go at the people there. Most wouldnt have expected to get rich off it, and if most got nothing instead of vouchers they wouldnt have been so angry . It was the vouchers printed to look like money , instead of the advertised cash thats the issue here lets see if they get prosecuted for that, pretty sure there was a law change to stop the strip clubs doing the same ( strip clubs were giving vouchers as change instead of your cash ) So this company ran the same scam as strip clubs |
