1467219 2020-03-06 05:25:00 Trying to get rid of the log in/on Windows 10 screen. So far I have searched the internet for a solution. I now have two log ons...I have done what has been suggested on several sites, but I still have to log on. Thanks in advance for the information to kill this annoying 'Feature' I have the latest version of Windows 10 (I think) :thanks

Cheers

1467220 2020-03-06 05:55:00 Theres two types of Logins, either a Local Account Login or Email Login.

If you have the Email you first have to change it to a Local Account. You cant have a Email account without the password.

Was going to write it all out but just found an article:

www.windowscentral.com

When you get to the point of entering a New password Step #8 simply leave them blank, when you reboot you may have to click "sign in" the first time, but after ( but there wont be a password) after that it should boot straight into windows after that.

One way to delete a LOCAL account if you made one by mistake is press the Windows Key +R Type in Netplwiz select the account you want to remove - Make sure you get the right one ;) - Remove.

No more logging in. Note though you are auto logging in with full rights which is a security concern for some.

Separate to the windows login is how to disable a password on waking up the PC from the lock screen if you leave it idling.
