| 42231 | 2002-04-06 10:14:00 | Thinking of putting another 256MB of 144-pin SDRAM PC100 RAM in my 1-yr old [Compaq Presario 14XL447] laptop. I have seen it advertised for $197 +GST. Is that good? Should I avoid 'bargains' and go for name brands or does it all come out of the same factory in Taiwan anyway? Or should I wait and get it in Aussie - I am going to Melbourne for a week in July. |
