| 42228 | 2002-12-22 06:25:00 | Hey Have you updated to SP1 as this removes a whole lot of problems and flaws that shipped with Windows XP so, i would really reccomend NOT using your email address as your username as spammers search through forums and stuff like this to get new email addresses"ted along the lines of something GodFather said to a few other members CyberChuck |

Have you tried booting in Safemode? Hold down F8 or Shift when your computer after turning your computer on until a special boot screen shows (you can just press F8 once, but it's better to be safe than sorry). Select to boot in Safemode, if that doesn't work something is really wrong, if it does, you can sort out your problems from there such as updating all drivers and firmware, installing the latest Microsoft fixes, modifying settings etc. |
