| 42515 | 2002-04-08 01:30:00 | Hi I used 98lite to remove IE and now when I try to defrag my HD with Norton Speed disk or the windows defrag program it keeps restarting due to diskwites. No other programs are running at the time. Any suggestions? Thanks |

| 42519 | 2002-04-09 01:06:00 | Thankyou for your comments. I found the problem which did not show up in programs running (ctrl, alt, del). Sygate, my firewall program was running causing the problem somehow. I defraged and Speed disk fixed some problems. On reboot I have a new problem which I shall ask about under the heading 'Invalid disk message' and its not a floppy. Thanks again, asdex |
