| 42448 | 2002-04-07 10:41:00 | Hi there, My computer has suddenly started frezing on shutdown. I get as far as the Windows Logo then no go from there. I push the emergency shutdown button and restart then shutdown operates ok. Anyone any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thanks, Mervyn. |

| 42450 | 2002-04-07 23:16:00 | Hi Merv, I am using win98SE and had frequent lockups the same as you describe. I now run 'ad Aware' from Lavasoft after every session on the net to check for spyware. Since doing this I have had no shutdown probs. Could be worth a try. | Guest (0) | ||
