42488 2002-04-07 23:08:00 Hi, I am running win98SE and have an Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 display driver etc version 4.12.01.0377

I have downloaded thelatest (28.32) driver from the Nvidia website, but I dont know how to replace the old driver, or even if I should replace it at all!. What happens if it doesnt install properly?, will I be able to see the screen to fix any install probs. Or should I be doing this at all?. Everything is working fine at the moment, butI would like to use the latest drivers for some of the newer games that are coming out. I would appreciate any suggestions and or ideas. many thanks in advance.

42489 2002-04-08 00:42:00 go to add/remove programs. uninstall your existing driver, reboot windows should find standard pci graphics card. when that is finished go run the new graphics driver installer.

note- disable any graphic driver utilitys from starting up before you remove origanal driver. sometimes they throw a hissy fit at the new drivers and causes a lot of headaches.
