| 42433 | 2002-04-07 09:04:00 | I have just purchased a new computer from The PC Company and continue to experience problems with my internet dial-up not connecting all the time. When dialing to the Actrix network I continually get as far as 'verifying user name and password' and nothing further happens. No connection, no anything. I have had the modem driver re-installed as Actrix said this could be the problem. This has not made any difference. I have just tried turning my computer off and then on again when this happens and after this seem to be able to connect straight through. Any idea what my problem could be? I have an Athlon 1800XP processor with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6. |
