| 42599 | 2002-04-08 09:03:00 | 1. I would like to know how to make a strip of software applications on the Desktop from the Programme list coming up at the Start button. 2. If a Floppy Disk is accidently kept in the drive, my computer doesn't do a full start until the floppy is taken out. What should I do in the BIOS to change this sitution? Please advise. Depends on your OS where the folder is kept, but for Windows 9x it should be at C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and in XP/2000 at C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Start Menu\Programs or something similar Then click OK The toolbar will appear on your taskbar. You can then drag it off the taskbar to wherever you want on the desktop, including an edge of the screen. In XP you will have to unlock the taskbar first. 2) In the BIOS you should goto advanced CMOS settings, and change the boot order. Floppy should come after the hard disc to get rid of this problem.
