Has improved a bit tonight with just Outpost (only) and then adding PC-cillon. definitely better with just systray and explorer. Lowest speed I hit tonight was 41333bps, even got bumped off completely when I tried to a link (never before). At least I'm getting on within 5 minutes (previously 1/2 hr of trying) Maybe need to try a different firewall. Cheers Murray P about to re-boot |

| 42625 | 2002-04-09 12:30:00 | No go Rodger Unfortunately it wouldn't connect at all with at&f+mz=12 (or 11). Will do a search for some strings to suit a 56k Lucent win modem. You've set me thinking, which is no mean feat, so will stay on it untill its back to what it was. Once again thank you all. Any more ideas still appreciated though. Cheers Murray P |
