| 42678 | 2002-04-08 13:29:00 | My computer seems to have a weird standby problem. If I choose to standby, XP will tell me its preparing to standby, then my power light will flash, then it appears to power off. If I go to switch it back on, the CD-ROM and CD-RW drive will spin up, also can hear the HD spinning up, but then the HD LED stays on and the computer sits at a blank screen. To get it working again, I have to to switch the power off using the power switch at the back or unplug it from the wall for a few mins before trying to power up again. Whats going on? I'm runnin Win XP Pro, Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-7ZM. Thanks for any help :-) |
