| 42562 | 2002-04-08 07:25:00 | is there something that will extend my table, without using copiuos amounts of non-breaking spaces I've got two tables, in two columns, the column on the right is for the text and the one on the left i want to make bigger so the text doesn't overlay the background picture. any ideas lemme know, could it be something to do with the table width? i can upload it to my homepages acc. if you wanna see what i mean, ta tones ps; i tried frames but it didnt give me the same effect |

| 42564 | 2002-04-08 08:14:00 | Use a transparent gif in one of your table cells that you can resize to whatever you want. If you have a look at the source of some webpages you'll come across one somewhere to 'borrow'. Do a search for gif and see if something comes up with a name like blnk.gif or similar. You won't need to look far, most pages have them (hint hint). |
