| 42894 | 2002-04-09 20:05:00 | I have an entry in the startup on msconfig which i wish to delete. Can anyone tell me how i delete this entry permanently. I have deleted it from the registry but cannot delete it from msconfig/startup. Also there are a number of entries in msconfig/startup which are there twice is there anyway to cleanup this situation? Thanks D |

If not you may need to tick the box again for it in msconfig and restart the PC and it should then be gone. Also, some things will be listed twice as some programs run as program and a service. Usually this is antivirus software or something to do with Power saving. |
