43015 2002-04-10 06:21:00 1. Anyone know where I can get an active desktop tha shows a anolog clock face for at least 4 different citys in the world.
2. I would like to set up an inexpensive additional monitor in my workshop which is on the floor directly below the computor,is it possible to set up an unused security camera monitor or TV to do this. I waste a lot of time running up & down the stairs checking the computor.
My computor is a PC Co 733 pentium & Windows ME

43017 2002-04-10 07:13:00 Hi Ian, I'm not altogether sure that I fully understand your question 1 but I have an application running on my PC that displays the time in any number of locations that you choose and that corrects not only it's self but your bios clock with any chosen atomic clock that allows access. It's called GeT Global Time and I'm sure it can be located on the net fairly easily.

I just typed 'get global time' into the Google tool bar and it's about the third entry.

It's a free down load.

43018 2002-04-10 07:19:00 One way is to buy a video card with RCA/TV out and dual monitor function, providing your TV or security screen has RCA inlets.

Cheapest:
www.trademe.co.nz
but don't tell anyone else.

43019 2002-04-10 11:37:00 What are you wanting to view? Four large clock faces?
How about two strategically place mirrors.

I just tried it with my TV and can view it ok round a corner in another room. (Reversed view if only one mirror of course.)

Parabola.
