| 42986 | 2002-04-10 04:54:00 | Sounds silly but have you installed the drivers for the videocard? If it needs drivers check here, My Computer (yours, not mine), right click and select properties and then Device Manager, any yellow ? or ! showing, then drivers are missing. If I remember right the process for chaning the screen res is the same in both 98 and ME. Check your video card drivers are installed first off and that no problems are showing in Device Manager. |

| 42987 | 2002-04-10 06:53:00 | Check that you have not set your colour settings too high. (Same screen as resolution settings) Sometimes video cards will not support both high colour and high res settings. Lower the colour setting and see. Otherwise definitely sounds like a driver prob. G P |
