| 43074 | 2002-04-10 09:21:00 | When I saw that I could download QuickTime via your PC world February 2002 disk which came with the magazine, I was pleased to say the least. I duly downloaded the programme and seeing that a snippet of the new Star Wars film was available to view, I tried to play it. The problem I have is that every time I try to play the film or one of my own short video clips( the reason for needing the programme) it crashes. The message QuickTime player has caused an error in QUICKTIME.QTS QuickTime player will now close. Try restarting your computer if error persists. Some times the QTS is replaced with .EXE. I am relatively new to computers and do not have any idea how to go about solving this problem. I have a PC Company computer running Windows ME with a 900mhertz duron processor. The graphics and sound are all integrated on the mother board. Can you help please? |

I use Ulead Video Studio (That came with the PC world April edition) and convert them to DivX or mpeg's. I find it is reliable and user friendly. There are tons more programs which do that as well but I find that the best. Hope that helps Brendan |
