43295 2002-04-12 22:04:00 I have successfully used a USB Link - it is a simple USB - USB cable - between two PCs and between a PC and a Mac. They cost about $60, and I have seen them at Dick Smiths and Harvey Normans. They come with all the required software. If you have USB connections on your PC and Laptop, it would be a cheap and effective way to go.

I no longer need mine as I have gone the networking route between my two PCs since setting up JetStart. If you live in ChCh you could have my cable for a very modest cost.

43297 2002-04-16 12:20:00 John I wish I had read your post last week as I've just purchased the same USB cable / software from Dick Smiths!! Works great and not a pain in the ass like direct cable connection with its stupid client / host setup. Also USB is miles faster. Guest (0)
