| 43268 | 2002-04-11 05:49:00 | I have a bunch of old Wordperfect(version 5.1 for Dos)files that I would like to convert en masse to MS Word format. I have tried the so called batch conversion wizard that came with Word but it fails every time. Any suggestions? | Guest (0) | ||
| 43269 | 2002-04-11 10:49:00 | Well, if you don't want to convert them all one at a time, perhaps you could tell us what happens when you try to use the Wizard? Can you convert single files successfully, and have you tried using the Wizard on a small batch rather than the lot at once? You might be choking the poor thing. Also, have you loaded the correct file format converter? Assuming that Word 2000 can convert this format, somebody out there must have tried it and if you post enough detail the answer might come. | 43270 | 2002-04-11 18:57:00 | Have you still got word perfect? It used to have a conversion program with it that would do files in batches. Don't ask me what the name is though, the brain cells that knew that died about six years ago. robo. |
