| 43508 | 2002-04-12 21:33:00 | I am using IE6 (problem aslo occurs using IE5 on different machine at different location) to download a 54Mb file fr0m HP.com, over a modxem 56k connection. I leave the machine to complete the download over night. When I check the machine in the morning, there is a dialogue boxing saying the download is complete... but only a % of the file has been downloaded (generally 12-20 Mb). How can I get this file? Thanks for your help. |

| 43509 | 2002-04-12 23:18:00 | Personally i ve had this happen to me afew times as well so i find a good idea is to use a download accelerator program which checks to see how much of the file is downloaded. I am currently using Mass Downloader from www.metaproducts.com which lets you resume uncompleted files and open zip files at their end and select only the components u want to download I used to use getright but found some difficulties with its segmented downloading style hope this helps they also tend to speed up the downloads as well good luck | Guest (0) | ||
