| 43464 | 2002-04-12 06:46:00 | My spread sheet was once linked to another similar one, but now I don't need it to, I don't seem to be able to stop asking me if I 'want to update my info' when it starts up. Does anyone know if there is a tick I can put/take off someplace? | Guest (0) | ||

It's called FindLink.zip from www.bmsltd.co.uk To look for links from a workbook, install the add-in FINDLINK.XLA, activate the workbook and use Tools/Find Links and it will delete any references it finds after your confirmation. Works brilliantly. |

Your site looked great, Susan, but the find links program didn't find any links! (cool program though, along with all the others) I'm thinking that the whole workbook, actually doesn't have any links anymore, but just says it does. I've deleted the file it supposedly links to, so I can't update even if I wanted to, and the 'update links manually' option is greyed out in edit>links. I've tried changing the source and see no differences... any other ideas?? |
