43415	2002-04-12 04:21:00	Hello, I own a Acer Laptop 210T 700mhz celeron processor with 256meg RAM with a clean upgrade of Win XP (from ME). I am experiencing a problem. I brought a Mustek 1200UB Plus scanner from Dick Smith Electronics, after which I downloaded the XP drivers from their site. The problem is that I can not get XP to recognise my scanner. I have reinstalled the drivers 6-7 times in an attempt to fix the problem. I have even downloaded the drivers from Mustek USA and Taiwen (Asia/Pacific region). Do you have any solutions? Fixes? I have just repeated the precedure at Dick Smiths advice and still no joy Thanks	Guest (0)
43416	2002-04-13 01:01:00	I had the same problem with a Mustek Bearpaw 1200, gave up in the end and managed to do a swap for a HP, no probs now...sorry	Guest (0)
43417	2002-04-16 02:30:00	I have a rebuilt 1200UB for which I downloaded the XP drivers off www.mustek.com and after 2 goes it works fine. I presume DS site sends you to Mustek, if not try there.	Guest (0)
43418	2002-04-16 06:44:00	I'm envious...I dont know what is going on with this thing ...it is very frustrating for me. Yes I have been to mustek.com as well Dick Smith Electronic NZ all tell me to do the same thing but no joy. Thanks for the comments Kevin	Guest (0)
