43384 2002-04-12 01:24:00 Recently I have noticed that when using Word, Excel or Access clicking on the 'up 1 level' icon when in 'My Docs' folder takes me directly to 'Desktop' bypassing 'C' drive. It also occurs if I click on the My Docs' icon on the desktop screen.

A small but annoying problem.

I have Windows 98 and use Office 2000 applications

43385 2002-04-12 01:47:00 It appears someone may have dragged your 'My Documents' folder to the desktop. If you want to restore it, go into explorer and drag it back over the c: icon and drop it. Guest (0)

I don't know how it works, but it works like this on every computer I have ever used. I don't know how you will get around it. Maybe, remove the my documents icon using something like tweakUI, and put your own shortcut there pointing to your my docs folder.
