| 43623 | 2002-04-13 11:31:00 | I have downloaded a programme called Tweakui. After downloading it it comes up as tweakui.exe but with a zip icon. When double clicking it it unzips some files, none of which seem to run the programme. It says in the accompaning data that there should be an icon in your Control panel. None of this has happened and I have no way of running the programme can anyone help me. Nic. |

| 43624 | 2002-04-13 12:52:00 | I had the same thing happen. From memory, have a look in C:\windows\temp for a file named tweakui.inf Right-click it, and choose Install. That should put the icon into Control Panel. |

| 43625 | 2002-04-13 14:39:00 | If you have already clicked on the exe folder and installed to default folder carry on reading. Using explorer go to windows\temp folder. I found that clicking on the tweakui.inf only gave me info.The icon to click on is the one that under the 'type' column says control panel extension, should be around 100kb. Double click on it and click ok. Then go to control panel and it should be there. Also i just got rid of it, so I think that it is right, as after the last ms security update is stuffed up the only feature I used. Check ealier posts for info. |
