| 43558 | 2002-04-13 07:04:00 | I am running Windows ME with two logon, primarily to use two different email address senders. My parrellel port packed it on the other day, and so I switched to the HP640c's USB port, BUT if you swap logons without hard restarting, then there is no print action. It seems only the user who started the PC can use the printer. I have tried re-installing the drivers in both logons, but still can't fix this little bug, that is driving me crazy. Is this a USB thing, as the printer shared quite happily when it was a LPT device ? Hope someone can help. |

There's no need to use separate logons or any of that drama to cover your tracks, if you are using Outlook Express, you can click in the 'From' box and select the account you want to use. If you are using Outlook, click File/Send Using for the same result. If this is not what you want, you'll have to provide more information about what you are trying to achieve. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

I need to figure out USB printing, and weather I am doing anything wrong with my two different logons. I might have to go back to no profiles, but don't want to ... thanks for your advice anyway | Guest (0) | ||
