i recentlly uninstalled a trial version of mcafee and due to the great unistall software they use it has not removed the registery entry that used to open the virus scan on start-up i was anyone had any ideas on what to do apart from using the recovery CD. |

Did you get the trial version off the recovery cd? I haven't found a way to get rid of mine |

Try the old standby solution to most registery ills. Regleaner 'www.jv16.org' Tools-registery cleanup-do them all.
