43768 2002-04-14 07:31:00 Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me out with a seemingly simple problem that I have been trying to solve for a while now.
All I want to do is put track index points into a continuous 75 minute audio track, that will of course be read by conventional CD players, and to not have any gaps where the index points are placed (just one steady stream of audio, in the fashion of DJ-mixed CDs such as those on the covers of Re:mix magazine).
I am able to place the index points on the track in Nero (CD burning program)- there are two ways of doing this, but one way is not read by conventional CD players and the other insists that a 2-second gap is placed in the mix. Nero help says there is no way around this. I have tried everything I can think of, and have looked on the net 4 a solution but all I found is a msg from someone else asking the exact same thing.
To know how to do this would be the means to finishing a large project. Help would be very much appreciated!:)
Cheers!

43769 2002-04-14 09:09:00 The 2 second gaps are because you are buring it as TAO (track at once).

Set the programme to use DAO (disk at once).
