| 43727 | 2002-04-14 02:04:00 | I am starting a new website and was looking at setting up a forum, I remembered reading about ikonboard (www.ikonboard.com) and it sounded pretty good so I went to download the software but for some reason ikonboard seems to have compltely disapeared. Does anyone know what happened to ikonboard? or more importantly could you recomend the best place to get a hosted forum or the best forum software like ikonboard? |

| 43728 | 2002-04-14 03:03:00 | Ikonboard I found was the easiest of all boards to setup because of the installer. I have Ikonboard Version 3 RC3 and if you want it just post your email address and I'll send it to you. I have no idea why their site is down and Im not sure if they released the full Version 3 but they may have. I got this version at the beginning of the year. YaBB (Yet another Bulletin Board) is a good forum. Harder to setup though. You can get it from http://www.yabbforum.com/ |
