| 43828 | 2002-04-14 22:29:00 | As an upcoming pensioner with limited funds I wanted to build a basic computor 600-800 MHz,CdRom,HD.FDD+various cards, I also wanted to use my existing Win3.1+Win95 upgrade to keep cost down and match 2 others on my LAN. I was advised that I could not use my software on the new system...is that correct? Eric. |

| 43830 | 2002-04-15 03:05:00 | Do not buy anything below 800mhz unless it is second hand, or at a cheaper price as the slowest CPU that Intel and AMD make now are 800 | Guest (0) | ||
| 43831 | 2002-04-16 08:37:00 | I was talking to my boss today and he says that the slowest chips now that he can buy from AMD and Intel are a Duron 1000 and a Celeron 1100. PS Celeron suck |

I am also curious about the Win98SE upgrade...as a student I could get the discounted price but they put the student sticker over the upgrade sticker and I'm concerned about it being some sort of reduced version...would you know? Eric. |
