| 43963 | 2002-04-15 10:16:00 | I have recently installed Office xp and am running winxp home. I am having some trouble in word with the apostrophe. When I press the apostrophe key (?) nothing shows up. I have to press the key twice to make anything show up, and two apostrophes (??) show up. This is very annoying as I have to go back and delete one of the apostrophes. Also, if I only press the apostrophe key once, then the next letter becomes acute. For example, if I press the ? key then type an e the result is i. Does anyone know how to turn this off? |

Failing that, I have a Balrog on disc, and would gladly lend him to scare away Shelob in case she is weaving her nasty web (he's quite tame I assure you) G P |

People are hereby warned not to expect any feedback or gratitude for trying to help the horrible little creatures. Not that no one else is guilty, but this is the first time I've seen a second post on the same issue without any acknowledgment that previous attempts to help did not work. Yes, you had better chum up with Gandalf. |
