Server is Small Business Server 2000. 100Mbit ethernet LAN, TCP/IP only. Win2k Prof and WinXP Prof machines with OfficeXP SP1. Have noticed that saving files can sometimes take quite a long time (up to several minutes). Files are only small, up to a few hundred Kb at most, and open in a snap. Have trawled Google and the MS KB. Any one else come across this ? It is occurring on at least two networks that I know of. |

Does then LAN perform as expected with other applications/file copies etc?
If so then do a dig on MUP.SYS |

Yes, other apps seem fine. Did a google check and MS KB search and mup.sys seems to be related largely with NT systems or also those systems using DFS. Can't find anything specific : do you have any further words about this file ? |
