43977 2002-04-15 10:49:00 I have zonealarm. Very regularly I get 'hits' from IP's 202.27.184.3(5). I know they are from Xtra. As they are my ISP am I supposed to let them in? Why would I want them to? I can at times get hit over 100 times in a night. This has been ongoing ever since I got Jetstart and I never used to worry about it, however recently I have downloaded Opera 6. My problem is when I get all these 'hits' Opera fails to connect or is very slow. IE 6 works great during these hits. I would prefer to use Opera now but am getting frustrated when this occurs. 43978 2002-04-15 12:13:00 Hi Sam,

Yes it is safe to allow incoming traffic from the 2 IP addresses specified, both of them are Xtra's dns servers.
If you are blocking these IP's this will stop your computer being able to translate domain names into IP numbers, and probably accounts for Opera being unable to connect to any sites.

Bruce.
