| 1296308 | 2012-08-23 03:32:00 | I've just connected to broadband with a wireless router/modem and now want to connect another desktop pc using wireless. The modem is a NetComm N300. Should I use a pci wireless card or a usb plugin in the second pc? The distance apart of the two pc's is approx 20 metres. Thanks |

Can you try the computer that currently has wireless in the location for the second computer you want to connect? If you get excellent signal strength, then a simple USB Wifi device should be fine. If the strength is low, you may want to consider a device that has a better antenna / power such as this: Alfa high power USB (www.alfanetwork.co.nz) | wuppo (41) | ||
