1295883 2012-08-21 04:08:00 The wireless connection through our Linksys WAG54GP2 router has ceased to work. We have done all the checks etc, reset, had advice from this forum, still nothing. We have VOIP with Xnet (World Exchange) and don't want to lose or mess up the telephone settings. I have a spare telecom wireless modem and it was suggested we could try using an ethernet cable to connect the telecom modem to the Linksys modem and thus get wireless connectivity that way. Kind of like an external wireless only modem. Don't want to try it till I get some advice hence this thread. Thanks in advance for your help. katharinem (3459)
1295884 2012-08-21 06:01:00 It's not quite so easy setting up the likes of the Telecom routers to function as an "Access Point".
You should be able to have a chat with Xnet and get them to remotely re-provision the router which may / may not resolve the issue, but it won't break your phone with them at least :)
