1295747 2012-08-20 17:38:00 I went into control panel and tried to delete a program which would not let me do. The program will run without sound and that is why I'm trying to delete it. So I go into Program files, Program files (x86) and Program Data and delete the program from there because it wouldn't let me re-install it. Now this is what I get. (Image) What can I do about this? lostsoul62 (16011)
1295748 2012-08-20 19:56:00 Always try Revo Un-installer and see if it appears there?

May be the program is corrupted in some way, always install again and then get rid of if you don't want it

1295749 2012-08-20 20:39:00 Never delete folders to uninstall a program. That will leave you with enteries in the registry and potentially creat problems such as you have already discovered. Follow Lawrence's advice above ie reinstall the program then either use it's own uninstall option if it has one, use the windows add and remove programs feature or install revo uninstaller find it with that and use it to uninstall the program. 1295750 2012-08-20 21:16:00 It looks like the main file is missing. What exactly have you done to the software, eg. deleted files, uninstalled? Try installing the software onto a USB from another pc then copy and paste the missing files into the directory specified in the error message. stratex5 (16685)
1295751 2012-08-20 23:43:00 It looks like you have deleted the install \ uninstall program that the program uses. Because the registry entries are still present, it's looking for the installed copy of the installer, instead of re-installing its own installer from the install media. (Yep, it's a stupid design!!)

If you have the files still in the recycle bin, try putting them back. If not, you'll probably have to manually clean out the leftover data, hopefully something like Revo Uninstaller can help.

Perhaps, I don't use registry cleaners. I find they often do more harm than good.
