1272528	2012-04-28 11:08:00	Hi, just wondering if anyone have done this or seen them .... given that Smartphones have been with us for some time now .... wondering if they stack up to 6x4 or 8x10 as snapshots. Are they still quite a bit poorer quality than a proper digital camera? Just had a thought because I still use film (slide film) and it's rather expensive and I like saturated film so not so ideal for pictures of people. :thanks	Nomad (952)

Just a 3.2MP camera phone Symbian without autofocussing. How are the newer phones like now ..... not that I am going to buy one but maybe when I need to upgrade that is.	Nomad (952)

I imagine a smartphone with a 5+ mega pixel camera e.g. iphone 4s would produce acceptable prints on 6x4 or 8x10. Resolution of some smartphones cameras are 1080p+ (which is less than your average point and shoot iirc) and given the size of a 6x4 or 8x10 isnt exactly large I would doubt that you would have any pixelation, blurting or anything like that. Can't say i've tried this for myself. There are services and apps that allow you to order prints direct from your iphone so for this service to exist i would imagine that it doesnt look half bad tbh.	icow (15313)
