| 1272134 | 2012-04-26 14:55:00 | I have an Asus G53JW that I am looking to sell once I finish building my new gaming rig. I want to reinstall Win 7 and wipe the free space before doing so. I have a retail Win 7 HP disc that I used to install Windows on my Mac and want to know if I can use this disc for the installation on the Asus if I use the Win 7 authorization number on the bottom of the G53JW. | 1272136 | 2012-04-26 22:20:00 | Does the Asus not have a Recovery option? That will put all the correct hardware drivers and extra software back to how it was when you first got it. The retail Win7 may not accept an OEM license key but not 100% sure on that. |
