1295593 2012-08-20 00:18:00 Setting up a xp pro system for 1 administrator user & 1 guest account.
Have got restricted access on guest account working but but it cannot access MS Office.
How do I get that working?

1295595 2012-08-20 09:37:00 umm I'll be vary vague here as I'm fishing, but
Is there a setting somewhere in either ms word or where you set up the guest account that allows you to select programs that the guest account can access?

1295599 2012-08-20 10:19:00 Go to Microsoft Office in the programs file, right click properties and then click security looks like you can edit access there. Arnie (6624)

1295601 2012-08-20 20:59:00 Yes it looks like you can, but this is a grey area for me, a lot of boxes to tick or not.
I can't help wondering why I should need to be doing this on a simple home system.
This is quite an old installation, maybe time to re-install & zero all the settings.
