| 1295172 | 2012-08-17 03:09:00 | Hi I have a amp and pair of speakers in a workshop where there is no display of any kind and dont wish to keep one. I would like to stream music from another room to this workshop. Finding it tricky to do this because I dont know how to control this i.e. change songs, change playlist. I was wondering if this is possible with iphone and Apply tv. Not sure if this is possible but may be airplay music so i see list of music (stored on media server) on my phone and it plays out to the appletv which then sends sound to the amp. |

But you could equally, without buying an apple tv, use the apple remote app to control itunes (and run a speaker cable to the other room)... Or thirdly, just plug you phone into some speakers - I do the third option when I'm outisde. Then I can either stream radio (zm app), shoutcast, spotify or itunes music. |

I dont want to cable it in anyway. It needs to be remote as i move around. If you say the airplay technique will work, how would i bring up the list/library stored on my media server onto my phone? |
