1272147	2012-04-26 10:02:00	Article from Stuff www.stuff.co.nz HA !!!! this is the farkin idiot that just about took myself and two other cars out at the roundabout at the bottom of the wainui hill. What they dont tell ya is he was on the wrong side of the road, going like hell against heavy traffic, and just around the corner was a school bus along with 2 schools just a little further up the road with lots of parents and school kids in the area as well as many cars , it was the busiest time of the day with kids going to school. The road there on that round is not exactly wide and the arc of the roundabout is not exactly smooth. How close was he ?? Well I swung to the left and thankgod there was no one there, I felt my car sway as he went past from the air coming off of his, I could have reached out and touched it, if I hadn't of swerved it would have been a head on smash, the car behind me did the same. I saw at least three in the car all in their teens. If there had been a bus or even a small truck on the roundabout at the time there certainly would have been a head on smash, and a real bad one. The cops, two cars were on the right side of the road chasing him and they were fair flying.	wainuitech (129)

Oh no, really, it went faster than the speed limit? how terrible !!:groan: Surely Mr Harris can come up with a better, more dramatic line than that :) Sounds like you were a bit to close for comfort there WT, thats a bit scary. That way they could let the driver think they are getting away so they slow down to a safe speed, then catch up to them later. Grenades are MUCH cheaper. Yeah, nutters abound. Bit hard for the cops, damned if they do and damned if they don't.
