44101 2002-04-16 09:24:00 A few months ago I purchased a cut price copy of Encyclopedia Britannica 2000 Deluxe Edition but have been unable to load it due Installation Disk only loads up to 99% preventing any further progress. Installation has been tried on three different PC's with the same result, all of which are sufficiently spec'd. I submitted this query to Britannica.com Technical Support but have had nil response. 44102 2002-04-16 10:53:00 Hello Dave.

Take the CD back to where you purchased it from and demand another copy or your money back. Shame on E.B for their slack customer service and you have every right to be annoyed. The fact that you have tried the same instillation on 3 different computers proves beyond any doubt that you have been given a dud copy. Go give it to em!!

44103 2002-04-16 12:11:00 Hello Dave,

There was a bad batch of this version of EB (corrupted file on the CD)Your only remedy is to take it back where you purchased it from and either get a replacement or your money back.

I know the Warehouse had stocks of these bad disks, not sure who else.
