Over the last few weeks I have had either a complete freeze or later still a partial one.( The mouse won't move smoothly and then suddenly jumps off the screen or at best way up in one corner) It comes after working on e mail mostly - sometimes playing a game(freecell) but when I press ctl/alt/del it says 'outlook express not responding'. Have I got a conflict creating this or is it the browser- I see there is a similar comment just in from Peter McCarthy
I am on 2.1 gig h/d, 192 meg RAM, 500 Mhz cpu, and windows 98SE |

After you hit ctrl+alt+del select the offending program, (in this case outlook express) and click end task. another window will pop up (sometimes takes a while) and click end now. |

I have done all that Brendon - I want to know why and how I can negate the need to 'end task'- it takes about 30 minutes before this appears- why? Have I got two programmes in conflict? |

If you have recently bought a new mouse or keyboard, it could be a driver conflict causing the problem |
