| 44427 | 2002-04-18 07:04:00 | A couple of small querirs. 1/How do I change the application which opens by default when I double click on a graphic icon eg .jpg .tif etc 2/How do I get the modem to read the correct conect speed? Mine currently tells me that I am connecting at 115 Kbps - On a 56K modem!! OS is win98 Would appreciate any suggestions. Rgds Grant |

| 44428 | 2002-04-18 07:47:00 | 1. Go into my computer click on Tools, Folder Options (Sorry I am doing this in XP and names have been changed I think.) Then File Types, Find the jpg, tif etc... and change the settings there. 2. Is it a rockwell modem? There were commands I think you add into the extra settings but I don't know them off by heart. Maybe someone else could give you help on this. |

| 44429 | 2002-04-18 08:48:00 | In windows explorer, go to the folder where your pics are. Left click on one of your JPEG files. Hold the SHIFT button down and right click. Left click on 'open with' and select what program you want to open them in, Check 'always use this prog..' and clock OK. Bye | Guest (0) | ||
