| 44869 | 2002-04-21 02:16:00 | Are we barking up the wrong tree? Why would an .exe file try to open in notepad? Maybe a wrong assocciation but have not come across this before with an exe file. Bye | Guest (0) | ||
| 44870 | 2002-04-21 04:15:00 | I'm quite puzzled by Jane's problem with Spider too, Peter. I don't think the .exe file is opening in Notepad. Jane said that after doing the scan the program says it can't open the results in Notepad as it is too large and it wants to open in Wordpad instead. It then won't work. What I can't understand is why the icon with the magnifying glass and red cross in it isn't there when Jane opens Spider. A program or something on her machine could be causing problems but I have no idea what. It's a bit of a mystery, eh? |

Maybe a delete on the lines you suggested & a re-load of the program. Red + etc a mystery though. Keeps us away from the things we should be doing!! Bye | Guest (0) | ||
