I have a new machine running XP Pro and using Internet Explorer 6.02.2600.0000. The history has never worked. I doesnt bother me, but it bugs me I can't fix it. I'm using McAffee AntiVurus 6. I have set my options to keep files for 31 days. But every day a fresh slate! The only view that works is by 'most visited' this seems to recall more than 24 hours, but none of the other views work. I sort of fixed The 'by date' viw by telling something in the registry to record more than 0000. But since I have virtually no idea what I'm doing in the registry I prefer to stay out of there - too scary without guidance. |
